Memory Foam Mattresses-Simplified

Buying a Memory Foam Mattress can be a confusing experience, there are so many different one's to choose from.

As you are probably aware, if you have been doing your research, that memory foam was originally developed to assist astronauts cope with extreme 'G' force exertion during space flight. Memory foam has unique properties which help to relieve pressure points. This is achieved by the memory foam reacting to the body weight and body heat. The mattress moulds to the body shape and position, which gives the necessary support to the neck; shoulders; back and legs. Once the body weight is evenly distributed over the contact area, the spine is allowed to select it's natural sleeping posture.

Many medical professionals recommend memory foam mattresses, and they are purchased by hospitals and nursing homes across the world. The following conditions can be caused by incorrect body support and incorrect body posture whilst in your bed;

• Circulatory problems
• Painful joints
• Knee ache
• Back pain
• Stiff neck
• Headache
• Fibrosis

Apart from the above conditions, sleepless nights can ruin your quality of life. If you are looking to buy a memory foam mattress it is probably due to one or more of the above.

Please remember when buying one of these mattresses, do not choose the cheapest. Many of these cheap mattresses are imported and are vastly inferior to mattresses produced in the U.K. Many do not meet the U.K. Fire Regulations, and are made using low density foam ( or are not even memory foam ).
